The Woodlands Inn Wilkes-Barre, Wilkes-Barre

I had a mix of experiences during my stay at this hotel. While the location and view were lovely, I faced issues with hidden charges that weren't disclosed upfront. The rooms themselves were nice, but the amenities were lacking, and the service could definitely use improvement. Overall, it was a decent stay, but not without its frustrations.

I stayed at this hotel for my sister's wedding, but it was not the experience I had hoped for. The location has potential but is quite outdated and a bit of a maze. The staff was not very attentive during the events, and there were several maintenance issues that really detracted from the stay. While the indoor pool was closed, the outdoor pool had maintenance happening right next to us. It needs some serious TLC to become a nice venue again.
